Abstract

In search of constructing a new economic theory for a sustainable economic system providing societies growth and security in a changing and complex social environment this study explores the role of military power and warfare in the context of modern democratic societies in Europe, their economic and political systems and their roles in international conflicts and wars. The internal and external dynamics of an economic system protecting a societies interest are analyzed in this study based on humanitarian philosophy and the guidelines of the international charter of individual Human Rights.
